ECHNICORE TDM 1250 SERIES machines continuously excavate and muck, clean
and support development ends, drill, break, perform roadheader and shotcrete operations
in any profile tunnel or mine having cross sections from 7.8 to 26 feet (2.4m to 8m).
TDMs are ideal for ground conditions from difficult or changeable soil to hard rock,
NATM-style tunnels, narrow veins to selectively mine ore and waste rock, final clean-up,
inclines, declines or on the flat.

THE CONVEYOR transfers soils and rock from the front of the machine through the center conveyor at rates of over 262 cu. ft. (200 cu. m) per hour. The rear conveyor
hydraulically elevates or lowers to load directly into a haulage system. The boom is a telescopic, 360-degree continuous rotation robotic arm that swings from side to side,
elevates and lowers to facilitate positioning the various tools to the face, walls and roof of the excavation. The quick attachment mechanisms allow the bucket to be replaced as
needed with a drill boom, impact hammer, roadheader, or man lift platform within ten minutes.
TDMs are track mounted, available with rubber tire or a rail mounted system.
The undercarriage drops 6-inches (15cm) below the propulsion tracks to allow the apron to stay flush with the base of the excavation and for excellent bulldozing capabilities. TDMs are powered electrically, by diesel engine or both.

THE SOLUTION for single end development mining or confined
space tunnel excavation is the Technicore TOM, where the unique design and compactness allows it to replace the customary 2 or 3
conventional machines most often used. These single versatile machines can drill the face
and roof
bolt holes, clean the soils or broken rock and bar the
face.
When fitted with an impact bucket cleaning the round, barring and excavating the lifters is a single
operation.
